Look at this picture and see if you can tell me what's wrong.
I feel like a little kid over here, jumping up and down in the seat... I know, I know!!!
Oh my word, I feel so stupid! Did you see it? It's not the garlic, it's the asparagus in the background. I planted it upside down. HELLO!?! There were no directions on how to plant it, so I guessed. Now after researching a little more, yes, it's wrong. Now what do I do? It takes two years from seeds to sprout your first produce. Maybe with the roots already I can have some this year BUT did I screw it up? Is the plant dead now? I don't know. I guess this year will be a trial. And to boot, there's two of them so I have to separate them now. UGHH, it's okay, you can laugh now.

Starting over...........
Hello again!
Last year I bought one of those plant greenhouses from the store. It worked really well. This year I decided to try using egg cartons. My neighbor gave me tons of egg cartons to use. The combination of being sick and the wood stove going on the cold nights, my plants dried up. I didn't water them enough, shame on me. This pic shows my poor dried up seeds/plants.

Last week I decided to start over again. This time I went to the store and bought another one of the greenhouses. So far, so good. I really cannot help myself. I said I was only going to plant a couple things this year, ha, not happening.
Here's a couple photos of what I have so far....
Squash - Spaghetti squash.
Green beans - My daughter LOVES eating green beans right off of the plant. I have about 21 seeds planted.
Garlic - Funny story. The local grocery store, convenient slop as I call it, has horrible produce. I bought a head of garlic and wouldn't you know it, three days later it was sprouting. So I decided to throw a couple cloves in a container of dirt and a week and a half later, this is what I have. I'm so excited!
Blue potato - This is my favorite and the one I am most excited about. It is called a blue potato but you'll have to forgive me, I will probably call it a purple potato.
Well, that's it for now. Tomorrow is supposed to be a nicer day. I will go outside and take pics of the garden area and more on what I want to do.
